Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

As a USA Hockey organization, KCWHL follows all USA Hockey guidance and policies. We explicitly adopt USA Hockey's Statement on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as follows:

We believe meaningful action can positively affect important change in our sport and carry over into our everyday lives. 

KCWHL is a gender-restricted organization dedicated to creating opportunities for all women to play hockey. We follow USA Hockey's transgender athlete eligibility policy, permitting transgender athletes "to participate according to the gender with which the athlete identifies, based on the gender shown in their USA Hockey Registration."
